Horde7 classes1 new combo: Warlock

Race Verdict

The sustain race: two healing tools, a clean flat Berserking and seven classes to pick from. Built to never stop moving.

Best for

Leveling sustain

LFCarry beta verdict: the healing package plus attack speed is unmatched downtime control.

Signature active

Rapid Regeneration

Half your health back over a short window, on demand. No other race comes close.

Signature passive

Regeneration

Combat healing that never turns off, doubled on Oct 15 to 20%.

New combo

Troll Warlock

The classic that never was: shadow casters with Berserking burst.

The Racial Kit

Two actives, two passives, exactly as Blizzard balances every race.

Racial	Type	Effect	How to use it
Berserking	active	+10% casting and attack speed for 10 s (now a flat, consistent buff instead of the Classic low-health version)	Press it on cooldown or inside your burst window; it pairs with everything.
Rapid Regeneration	active	Heals 50% of maximum health over a short period	A massive self-heal on any class: the biggest downtime cutter in the game.
Beast Slaying	passive	+5% damage to Beasts	Free grind speed; beast bosses make it raid-relevant too.
Regeneration	passive	20% of your out-of-combat health regen continues in combat (raised from 10% on Oct 15)	A constant trickle of free healing during every fight.

Class Lineup

Seven classes, the biggest lineup on the Horde side. Troll Warlock is one of the six new launch combos.

Class	Status	Race fit
Hunter	Classic	Berserking speeds every swing; the healing tools keep you in the field.
Mage	Classic	Flat 10% cast speed bursts on demand, mana-free sustain on the side.
Priest	Classic	The self-heal package lets a squishy healer survive the parts that matter.
Rogue	Classic	Two healing tools fix the classic rogue downtime problem; Berserking feeds attack speed builds.
Shaman	Classic	Attack and cast speed in one button works for enhancement and caster shaman alike.
Warlock	NEW	The new combo: a caster with Berserking bursts and Regeneration sustain.
Warrior	Classic	Attack speed is pure rage generation; the healing kit patches warrior leveling pain.

How It Plays

Content	What the kit does for you
Leveling	The best leveling kit in the game: two healing tools plus Beast Slaying means you simply do not stop.
Dungeons	Berserking on boss pulls; Rapid Regeneration after oops-pulls.
PvP	Berserking burst windows and a 50% self-heal make trolls slippery.
Raids	Line Berserking up with class cooldowns; the sustain passives free the healers up.

Data: Oct 15, 2026 racial kits (beta). Numbers can shift until launch on Nov 4; we re-verify against live tooltips. Note: Blizzard flagged the Orc and Troll actives as under review on Oct 8; expect final tuning at launch.
